Project,: “ Visuality& Mathematics: Experiential Education of Mathematics through Visual Arts, Sciences and Playful Activities “, this year we organize a Summer School for teachers, undergraduate students, mathematicians, artists and for all the inquiring teachers.
This year’s theme and aim is an upgrade to last year’s summer school, where we focused on how to integrate pedagogical results of using art, science, and play-centered learning into mathematics teaching programs, how to integrate experience-centered mathematics education into art teaching programs. How to expand the set of tools used for develop a learner’s perception, aesthetic sensibility together with increasing mathematical, logical, combinatorial, and spatial abilities, structured thinking skills, motivate collaborative problem solving, interdisciplinary and inter- artistic approaches, how to organize math-art events in your school, and many more topics concerning this sphere of interest.
Comparing international essays and workshops from teachers and students from all around Europe, discussing interesting ways to up the level of educational techniques in mathematics, and the bond between The Visual Arts and Mathematical and logical techniques.
On the schedule we offer various workshops, lectures, seminars, and many more activities that will focus on the development in the fields of experimental education.
