ODS – Open Discovery Space
A socially-powered and multilingual open learning infrastructure to boost the adoption of eLearning resources”. Open Discovery Space addresses various challenges that face the eLearning environment in the European context. Open Discovery Space Web portal that was developed during the project is socially-oriented platform through which the teachers, students and parents are be able to discover, adopt, discuss and adjust resources to their needs and interests. Consortium of this ambitious project consists of 51 organizations – participants from 25 European countries. Each partner had a goal to expand this idea and develop their national repositories that will supply the ODS portal with information and materials.

 


Tempus – Incoming
INCOMING is a 3-year project (2012-2015) funded by the TEMPUS IV programme of the European Union. It is a Joint Project / Curricular Reform (JPCR) project with the objective to initiate capacity building for interdisciplinary studies at universities in Serbia, to be offered both in English and in Serbian, at all three levels of study (BSc, MSc, PhD), and in at least one of the following three modes of study: face-to-face mode, distance learning, and blended mode.

In line with the technological development and growing need to develop knowledge-based economy, the universities, as key knowledge providers, should pursue to develop third mission.
The third mission encompasses a wide range of activities involving the generation, use, application and exploitation of knowledge and other university capabilities outside academic environments. Those activities are divided into three dimensions: 1) Technology transfer and innovation; 2) Continual education; 3) Social engagement.
