CONFERENCE ON THE THIRD MISSION OF THE UNIVERSITY

CALL FOR PAPERS

You are cordially invited to apply for the Conference on the Third Mission of the University. The Conference is organized with Erasmus plus funded project “Institutional framework for development of the third mission of universities in Serbia”. It provides arena for scholars, professionals, graduate students, policy-makers and other interested parties in all three pillars of Universities’ Third Mission to present their research and good practices and obtain indepth feedback on their work through interaction with a group of distinguished international scholars. The venue of the Conference is the Scientific Technological Park Zvezdara, the leading institution which connects business and academia.

The goal of the meeting is to present papers and particapate in the debate on the aspects of third mission. Moreover, Proceedings with peer reviewed papers will have ISBN number, thus all papers could be listed as reference in researchers’ CV. The presenters are expected to present their paper to the other conference participants (approximately 15 minutes for each presentation) and will receive intense feedback on their work from other participants of the conference.

We invite submissions in all areas of third mission of university, targeting one or two tracks. In particular, we encourage submissions related to the conference theme, i.e. technology transfer and innovation in the business as the result of academic research, good practices in increasing of the social engagement of HEIs, life long learning as the growth engine in modern society, etc. Therefore, the list of topics includes, but it is not limited to the following:

Presenters are expected to participate in all sessions. The working language is English. There is no conference fee.

In order to apply for the conference, please send an email to the chair of the track to which you are applying for, attaching a filled-in APPLICATION FORM and the paper you would like to present (in pdf format).

The chairs of the sessions will act as the be co-editors of the book of proceedings. Editor in chief will be prof. dr. Vesna Mandic) agrees.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

The papers presented on the conference will be published in the book of proceedings, with registered ISBN. Every paper will undergo two blinde reviews. Only papers with two positive reviews will be accepted for publishing.

The papers must be prepared in accordance to content and technical requirements provided at the end of this call. Failing to meet the listed requirements may result that the paper is not included in the book of proceedings. Therefore, we kindly ask all authors to carefully consult the guidelines and prepare their manuscripts accordingly.
